REMEDIAL WORK – WORKSHOP with Anjali & Liina, HELSINKI
Anjali Ratnaparkhe (RIMYI) & Liina Puustinen (Level 3),
The course features Iyengar yoga exercises for common physical ailments, such as those affecting the knees, lower back, shoulders, and neck. The exercises are therapeutic in nature but can be performed in a regular yoga class using commonly available yoga props. Some of the exercises are done in pairs or small groups.
The course is designed for Iyengar yoga practitioners of all levels, except for absolute beginners. It is also ideal for teachers, who can bring their own students and deepen their understanding of instruction and assistance.
The primary language of instruction for the course is English.
Schedule: Fri 5–7 PM, Sat 10 AM–1 PM & 2:30–4:30 PM, Sun 10 AM–1 PM

About the teachers:
Anjali Ratnaparkhe is a senior teacher in RIMYI the Iyengar’s Institute in Pune, India. Since 1996 she has practiced closely with the guidance of the Iyengar family, and since 2000 she has been a teacher at the institute. Anjali offers beautiful insights to the variations of asanas, and she has a deep understanding of the therapeutic Iyengar Yoga.
Liina Puustinen is a senior Iyengar Yoga Teacher, teaching all levels of students including remedial yoga yoga and teacher education. She has studied numerous times in RIMYI, Pune, India, and continues to teach and deepen her knowledge at the Light On Yoga Academy, Germany. She runs the YogaMundi – Iyengar Yoga Centre in Heidelberg, Germany, and teaches intensive courses in Finland and online.
